New pavilion to be built where Finch Lodge stood

New pavilion to be built where Finch Lodge stood
On Friday, March 27, Boy Scout officials and construction contractors officially broke ground for a new multi-purpose pavilion to be constructed near the beachfront where the Finch Lodge once stood at Diamond Lake. Left to right: Ranger Leo Bevier, Chris Myers, President of NA Degerstrom Inc., Terry Fossum, President and Chairman of the Scout Endowment, Scott Mason McClintock and Turk, Robert Blegen, Cowles Advisory Board Chair, Maryann Edgington Inland Northwest Scout Executive/CEO, behind her is Jeff Slichter ALSC Architects, John Nelson, past Cowles Advisory Board Chair, and in the front far right is Brent Merrel Inland Northwest Council President/Chairman. The kitchen is not fully funded so the Boy Scouts need donations to cover the entire cost of the kitchen equipment. Those interested in donating should contact Robert Blegen [email protected].
