NEWPORT — The Blue Ribbon Tea Company and Laddie Ray Melvin bring their folk, blues, country and original music to Create Arts Center at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Advanced tickets are $15 and $20 at the door. Students get in free with identification.
A new class from 1–3 p.m. Saturday, May 9 is the youth drama workshop with Alexi Alfieri for ages 10–14. No acting experience is needed. The class will feature drama games and stage skills. Pre-registration is required.
Also, at 6 p.m. May 9, Carl Rey and Truck Mills return to Create for a concert. The duo blends world music with blues, jazz, and Americana. Advance tickets are $15, $20 at the door or students get in free with identification.
