NEWPORT — The Mountain Harmony Show Choir and Northwoods Performing Arts present their annual youth show, this year entitled “High School, Jr. Musical.”
Under the direction of Nina Pletsch, the nostalgic romp features two popular teens auditioning for East High’s Spring musical as they navigate the ins and outs of high school drama.
“High School” performances are April 23–25 at Circle Moon Theater. Tickets are $35 per person for the dinner show or only $14 for just the show. Senior and children’s tickets are $12. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dining service begins at 6:30 p.m. and the curtain opens at 7:30 p.m. The final performance on Saturday, April 25 is a matinee with doors opening at 2 p.m., and no meal is served.

“High School” is produced by special arrangement with music supplied by Music Theatre International in New York. The book is by David Simpatico, with music adapted by Bryan Louiselle, and is based on a Disney Channel movie written by Peter Barsocchini.
