Real estate pair donates to nonprofits at grand opening

NEWPORT – Some area nonprofits will be presented checks, attendees will get free movie tickets and ice cream coupons and raffles will be held when the grand opening of the newly formed Pend Oreille Real Estate Collective takes place Friday, April 24 at from 3:30-7 p.m. at 317 S Washington Ave. in downtown Newport.

Pend Oreille Realty and Liberty Lane Investments & Realty, led by Led by Cody Abbott and Breonna Albro Ferguson, formed the collective and are holding the event to celebrate the opening of their shared office. The two firms will conduct check presentations to local nonprofit organizations, including The Family Crisis Network and The Pend Oreille Playhouse.

The grand opening is designed as a community event, featuring local partnerships, giveaways, and family-friendly activities, according to the press release announcing the event.

Each attendee will receive a movie ticket to the 7:30 p.m. showing at the Newport Roxy Theater, along with a coupon for free ice cream at Owen’s Grocery, Deli & Soda Fountain, and a 10% discount and free bracelet from Shanty Boutique.

Attendees will also be able to enter free raffles with prizes donated by local businesses.

The Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.
