IONE – The Selkirk Rangers are headed to the WIAA State Track & Field Championships May 28-30 at Eisenhower High School in Yakima.
Selkirk state qualifiers include: Jameson Davis (Senior) – Discus, Javelin, 400m Rowan Hampson (Senior) – 400m, 4x100, 4x400 Anidy Patterson (Senior) – 4x100 Trinity Milton (Senior) – 4x100, 4x400 Morgan Hendershott (Junior) – 100m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles, 4x100, 4x400 Kaden Strickler (Junior) – 110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles Oscar Dispenza (Sophomore) – 3200m Pam Harting (Freshman) – 4x100, 4x400 “Under the leadership of Coach Krystal Hayzelden, these athletes have worked hard all season, putting in countless hours of practice and preparation,” read a status update on the Selkirk School District’s Facebook page. “Their dedication paid off with outstanding performances at district competition, earning them the opportunity to compete on the state stage against the best athletes from across Washington.”
