The “Childcare expensive, scarce for many families” in the June 26 issue of The Miner incorrectly quoted Jana Mueller as saying the “Newport Co-op Preschool charges $500 per month.” The preschool is being charged $500 per month by their current landlord, the preschool’s highest cost program is far below $500. We regret any confusion this may have caused.
