Priest Lake Library hosting June events

PRIEST LAKE — The Priest Lake Library is continuing to host events this June.

They include the following: * Adult Book Club, 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 10.

Come discuss with your peers the book you are currently reading.

* Priest Lake Book Club, 10 a.m. Friday, June 12.

* Needle Nuts, 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13. Some supplies provided, but consider bringing a lap craft to work on in the company of others. Free program.

* Young Adult Book Club, 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 17. Self-guided. Prepare to speak about a book you are currently reading.

* Adult Art Day, 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17. All supplies provided. Bring a friend. Free program, but consider donating to the building expansion.

* Father’s Day Craft, 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18.

Make something to celebrate Dad, all supplies provided. Free program.

* Summer Reading Program: Unearth a Story, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25. Come unearth a story at the library this summer. Join the library at its opening party and discover dinosaur eggs. Runs through the beginning of August. Free program.

* Shinrin Yoku Forest Bathing, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25. Come learn about and practice forest bathing. This is a silently lead program, consciously walking through Mother Nature with teatime afterward. Also a free program. Adults only.

* Dungeons & Dragons, noon Friday, June 26. Join the library on a journey. Come with a pre-made character, get some points on development. Play with like-minded individuals, all supplies provided.

Free program.

The library’s summer hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mondays through Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. The library is closed for Juneteenth, Friday, June 19.
