Oldtown man dies in ATV crash

SPIRIT LAKE — A 43-year-old man from Oldtown died in a vehicle collision over the weekend in Spirit Lake.

The night of Saturday, June 6, he was driving his black 2007 Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle west on That A Way Road. At about 12:05 a.m., his ATV left the roadway and entered a wooded area. He was ejected from the ATV and succumbed to his injuries at the scene, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

The crash is still under investigation.ISP was assisted by the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office and Bonner County EMS.
