Wyatt the Worm

Wyatt the worm was a gift for fishermen He had slinky wrinkles in his hobbly bobbly body With a whole of a winking blinking trailing tail Wyatt was squishing swishing himself up Through the mud for it had recently rained The yard had gained puddles Of slushy mushy water bubbles His pink wrinkles supreme Were seen by Muchka the Hungarian cat Muchka pranced and pounced On the hole in the muck and mud Wyatt was wiggly and whily and smiley Slippery and sliding and slipped Right back into his swollen hole For fishing worms that squirmed Grandpa would have to wait patiently For Muchka the cat To split in double time – FAST!
