Newport Rodeo Champions

NEWPORT – It was a packed arena last Saturday night, June 27 for the 77th Annual Newport PRCA Rodeo as the audience cheered on competitors from all over the United States, Canada and Australia. With $50,000 in prize money split between the 10 events, here are the champions that came out on top after the three-day event.

Next up for the Newport Rodeo Association is the Rusty Palmer Memorial Shoot Friday, July 10 at the Newport Rodeo Grounds, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Directly after that is the 2026 Cowboy Mounted Shooting Idaho State Championships at the Newport Rodeo Grounds Saturday-Sunday, July 11-12, 8 a.m. both days.

The Rough Stock Rodeo is Saturday, Aug. 1, 7 p.m. at the rodeo grounds.
