Newport agencies holding public hearings

NEWPORT — Two Newport agencies are soon to hold public hearings.

The City of Newport is holding a public hearing to discuss the six-year transportation plan during the next Newport City Council meeting, at 6 p.m. Monday, July 6 at Newport City Hall. Newport City Hall is at 200 S. Washington Ave.

The following week, the Newport School District is holding a public hearing to discuss next year’s budget during the next Board meeting, at noon Tuesday, July 14 in the Board Room. The Board Room is at 1380 W. Fifth St., next to Newport High School.
