Dispatch also fields calls for the Kalispel Tribe’s property in Airway Heights.
Certain police calls are generally omitted because of space constraints. ARREST: Miller’s One Stop Grocery, Elk, Fred Craig Gonzalez, 70, of Spokane was arrested on local warrants.
THEFT: Kent Creek Lane, Newport, report of subject cutting trees without permission.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 1 FIRE: Buffalo Lane, Cusick, report of fire alarm going off and complainant smelling burning, no smoke, possibly from furnace.

& S. Newport Ave., Newport, report that complainant’s kids went out to shoot off their parachutes, then adult came out and cussed out them and complainant’s wife.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: W. 1st St., Newport, report that this house had awful smell emanating from it; complainant unsure if something was dead or if it was just all the garbage that was there.
