Down River Days this weekend
IONE — A parade, Crazy Lady Softball, live music, arts, crafts and food vendors and of course, the ever-popular snowmobile water races return with Ione Down River Days this weekend, Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26.
Events kick off Friday, with vendors setting up in the Ione Park, and the Kids Color Walk/Run is at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 25 starts with a Cowboy Breakfast, hosted by the North Pend Oreille Valley Lions Club from 7–10 a.m.
Parade line-up begins at 9 a.m., with the parade starting at 10 a.m.
Vendors are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, as is the beer garden. A cornhole tournament is set from noon to 4 p.m.
Music in the park by Riley Crabtree will be all day. Kid Zone inflatables will be operating from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Lions Railriders trips are scheduled for 9 a.m. and noon.
A street dance is from 7–11 p.m.
On Sunday, July 26, another cowboy breakfast is from 7–10 a.m. The famous Snowmobile Watercross sign-up is from 8–10 a.m., and racing is from 11 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m.
Vendors are open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the beer garden is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kid Zone inflatables are up from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the Lions Rail Riders operate at 9 a.m. and noon.
