Bead Lake boat launch area temporarily closed

COLVILLE – The Bead Lake Boat Launch is temporarily closed for maintenance and improvement activities, which began July 27. This closure includes the public parking area next to the boat ramp. The area will reopen to the public on Sept. 1, 2026.

Bead Lake is a popular recreation site located on the Newport–Sullivan Lake Ranger District. Recreators can still access the surrounding area by parking at the Bead Lake Trail Head.
