County historical society invites renowned guest speaker

NEWPORT — The Pend Oreille County Historical Society invites history lovers, community members and museum supporters to a special presentation by KSPS-PBS Northwest Profiles writer-host Tom McArthur. This presentation is from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, August 29th at the Oldtown Rotary Park building and is part of POCHS’s Annual Meeting.

McArthur will be the grand attraction presenter. He is sharing some videos of Pend Oreille County from long ago that are sure to stimulate attendees’ memories, as well as debuting a new project.
