NEWPORT – Those Pend Oreille County residents wanting to be involved in the county’s inner workings now have a chance.

Several positions are open on four of the county’s volunteer boards, listed below. If interested in applying, informational statements are available at www.pendoreille.gov/ board-county-commissioners/ page/volunteer or at the Commissioners’ Office, 625 W. 4th St., PO Box 5025, Newport, WA 99156. Send a letter of interest along with an Informational Statement to the address listed above.
