Pend Oreille PUD staff recently headed to Box Canyon Dam, taking part in swift water rescue and Life Flight training. Josh Draper with True Grit Safety Co., and PUD HR Generalist Nicole Woitel worked with the PUD team alongside Pend Oreille County Fire District No. 2, Billy Turner with Wenatchee Valley Fire Department (WVFD), and Dustin Waterbly with LifeFlight. “It was a great opportunity to practice emergency response skills in a real-world environment and strengthen our coordination with other emergency responders,” PUD Facebook read.
