PRIEST RIVER — The new Career and Technical Education forestry building at Priest River Lamanna Jr./Sr. High was celebrated with a grand opening Thursday, Sept. 10 (see front-page story). Teacher Jared Hughes said West Bonner School District received a $724,240 Idaho Career Ready Students grant in November 2023, allowing the district to invest in the planning and construction of the building, which will help teach all aspects of the forestry industry and allow students to earn credentials and certifications in several professions.
