IONE – Selkirk’s homecoming football game was a success when the SelPort Lumberjacks took down Inchelium 26-20 Friday night. SelPort is a combination of Selkirk and Northport high schools.
SelPort scored 12 points in the first quarter, while allowing Inchelium eight. Inchelium scored another six in the second quarter, leading 14-12 at the half.
Neither team scored in the third, but Sel-Port scored two TDs in the fourth, with successful PATs, while holding Inchelium to six.
SelPort has a week off. Crossover games will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7, with details to be determined.
