METALINE FALLS – Rural Resources will hold its bi-weekly food distribution Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Metaline Falls Congregational United Church of Christ beginning at 1 p.m. People are asked to sign in and note how many people you will be sharing in your gleaning. Everyone is welcome.
Also in Metaline Falls, there’s is a whole new selection of donations at the Cutter Clutter Sale. From furniture to bedding, household items to toys, you can find just what you want or need – or an unexpected treasure, organizers said. As the summer winds down, the sale is $5 for a grocery sack or $10 per box. Both are available or bring your own.
The Cutter Clutter is a fundraising event at the Cutter Theatre from June through Sept. 7-8. For more information on the Clutter – or anything else happening at the Cutter Theatre, call 509-446-4108. The Cutter Theatre is located at 302 Park St., in Metaline Falls.
The Cutter Theatre will host another afternoon of family-friendly Bingo in their Green Room, Sunday, Aug. 11. The first session is at 1 p.m. and the second session at 3 p.m. Cards are $5 each per session. There is also a soup lunch available both sessions.
Prizes are awarded for each game, including a special prize for the “blackout” game.
