The Pend Oreille Valley Relay for Life raised $7,646.18 for the American Cancer Society Friday night and Saturday morning, Aug. 9-10, at Newport High School. There were 64 participants who walked around the track, played games, and honored those who have both passed away from cancer and survived cancer.
