Lori was born May 30, 1960, in Oakland, California.

Lori was a 1978 graduate of Mesa Verde High School in Citrus Heights, California.

On August 4th, 1979 she married Rodney Ickes and went on to have daughters Christy and Erica.

In the fall of 1982, Lori and husband Rodney with daughter Christy, moved from California to Washington.

In 2004 Lori celebrated being the first in her family to graduate College when she received a degree in Accounting from SCC.

In 2007 she welcomed her first grandchild, grandson Taylor.

In 2015 she welcomed granddaughter Alessia.

In 2016 her husband Rodney passed away.

Lori was active at Newport Assembly of God and involved in numerous ministries and groups, including being the church secretary.

Lori was an avid reader and crafter.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Eleanor Stone, and her husband Rodney. And succeeded by daughters Christy (Jason) Remillard of Auburn, Washington, and Erica Ickes of Cusick, Washington, and grandchildren Taylor and Alessia, sister Beverly (Alan) Proctor of Rocklin, California.

A Celebration of Lori’s life and a potluck will be held September 27th at 1 p.m. at Parkside Church in Newport, located at 1428 W. 1st St. Please bring a dish to share.
