Bob and Nellie met in 1950, were married in 1953 and had eight children. Their love was a once in a lifetime love which endured all the true tests of time. Bob was a proud veteran of the Navy Reserve, serving as a signal man on the USS Hancock during the Korean War. He owned Graham Oil, then Graham Tire and later worked for the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s office and Diamond Lake Water and Sewer District. Bob spent the last 53 years of his life walking a path of recovery. His courage was an inspiration to all who knew him. One of his proudest achievements was his dedication to sobriety and the growth he experienced over 53 years. He was a beacon of hope to many in his community. He will be profoundly missed by all those whose lives he enriched through his many years of sponsorship and mentorship. Preceded in death by his parents and two sons. He is survived by his wife, 6 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A rosary service will be held on October 1st, 2025, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church followed by a funeral mass at 11 am. Reception to follow at 12:30 pm at Priest River Event Center.
