SPOKANE

Betty was born to Harry and Ruth Dickerman in Newport, WA, on March 17, 1929, and passed at Hospice House of Spokane on October 14, 2025. She graduated from Central Valley H.S. in 1947 and worked in the vehicle licensing department of the Spokane County Auditor’s Office.

She married Glenn Janson in 1948. They lived in Spokane Valley 25 years, built a home at Sacheen Lake, where they lived 42 years, then back to Spokane 10 years ago, and spent 38 winters as snowbirds in Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Farringer and Connie (Carl) Gross; grandchildren, Glenn Farringer, Marci Farringer, Carrie (Craig) McNearney, Curtis (Michelle) Gross and Collin Gross; and 11 great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her parents and brother, and by her husband after 74 years of marriage. No service is planned.
