Karen (Cole) Olm, a lifelong resident of Newport, passed away on February 22, 2026, at age 71. She is survived by her children Erin (Steven) Slater and Danny Doolittle, and siblings Janice Fleishman and John Gretener.

Karen was known for her warmth, generosity and her love for the outdoors.

Whether hunting in North Dakota or spending time with her 10 grandchildren, she lived with a gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. She is now reunited with her husband, Danny Olin.
