MAY 31,1986 - APRIL 28, 2026

Samuel Cogswell, son of Mark and Penny Westphal, went home to the Lord on April 28th, 2026, just a month and a few days shy of his 40th birthday (May 31st). Sam is deeply missed by his parents, daughter Avalon, brothers Adam, Matt ( Jennifer) and Jacob (Katie) Cogswell, and John (Christina) and Lucas (Rebekah) Trunkey, 11 nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on August 1st, 2026 at 1 p.m., at Priest River Event Center with a potluck to follow at the home of his parents.
