Joesph Earl Rusho, 78, passed away in the early morning of August 11th, 2026 in hospital in Seattle, WA. He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Rusho, of 37 years and his older brother, Gary (Shanthi) Rusho. He has left behind 8 children. 25 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Joe lived his life doing. He was not often found lounging in a chair if there was work to be done. He had half-finished projects littering his world and being in the midst of his chaos, welding or building or fixing, was a large piece of his happiness. Everywhere Joe went, he made friends. He was always quick to smile, tell a joke, and throw in a sarcastic quip. If your car broke down on the highway, and he happened to be passing by, he would stop and help. Joe would leave no one stranded.

A Master Millwright by trade, he spent the majority of his senior years traveling and building infrastructure throughout the world. He loved reading, and he fought his dyslexia to do so. When he wanted something, it got done. He loved his family, and he was always there if needed. The world was enriched by his presence in it; his absence will always be felt.

His celebration of life will be held at the Blanchard Community Church, 26590 Highway 41, Blanchard, Idaho at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Everyone is welcome. Please join us to celebrate and share the impact that Joe had on each of our lives.

Any donations can be made in Joe’s name to Autism Speaks.
