Teddy Jo Goodwin, 86, of Newport, Washington passed away September 1, 2026. Teddy was born December 16,1939 to Wyland and Viola (Fechtner) Prowett. She and her older brothers were raised by her grandparents Harold and Bessie (Green) Prowett. She lived in Nebraska, South Dakota and California and worked a variety of jobs while raising four children. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and crafts. She was preceded in death by her older brothers, Hal and Larry Prowett, her mother Viola, husband Gerald, grandchildren Jason Fox and Jennifer Lee. She is survived by her children, Arthur Goodwin of Colorado, Debi Jones of Vermont, Natalie Babcock, and her estranged son Mike Fox both of Newport, her sisters Besse Gardner of Colorado, Darlene Drouillard of Montana, Shirley Davis and Geri Sherrill and brother Bill Shinn all of California. She is also survived by grandchildren William Jones, Robby Fox and Amanda Fox, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She lived a full life and loved her family deeply.
